It all started when...

For Susan Bigsby, an understanding of style didn't begin with a career. It began with a lifelong fascination with how the right colors, clothing, makeup, and details can transform not only how someone looks, but how they feel.

As a young girl, Susan learned to sew and soon began designing and creating her own fashions. Her attention to detail and desire for excellence led her to win a national design and sewing competition among 16,000 contestants, an early indication that fashion and personal style would become much more than an interest.

That experience eventually led Susan to design and manufacture her own line of knitwear, which was sold internationally.

But clothing was only part of the picture.

Susan was equally fascinated by makeup and the art of enhancing an individual's natural features. She studied makeup application and went on to work as a professional makeup artist for international fashion shows featuring some of the world's top models, as well as on major motion pictures.

It was the combination of her experience in fashion, design, makeup, color, and personal style that ultimately led Susan into the emerging field of professional image consulting.

Her expertise brought opportunities to work with Estée Lauder executives and to travel nationally making personal appearances for Neiman Marcus and other luxury retailers, consulting with countless individuals on their personal image and style.
